We are excited to announce that Haxby Group Training has rebranded to Academicare!
As part of this transition, we have launched a new website. Please visit our new site www.academicare.co.uk and remember to bookmark it! Kindly note that our current website will be deactivated on 13th April 2025, as we fully migrate to the new platform.
Academicare (previously Haxby Group Training) develops and delivers training enabling primary care to grow skills crucial to providing high quality care. All our courses build on the strong education and training ethos of our founding front-line practices. We have developed a range of face-to-face and virtual courses for clinicians and support staff, we also offer bespoke training solutions and consultancy.
As host for the Primary Care Workforce and Training Hub in the Humber and North Yorkshire ICS region, we help Primary Care to recruit, develop and retain its workforce.
We do this by administering various commissioned initiatives on behalf of NHS England, via education, training, workforce schemes, mentoring support, facilitating events and assisting primary care to receive grants and funding or other assistance that may be available.
Information about support and schemes available via the training hub can be found on the dedicated website: https://yhtraininghubs.co.uk/
