Who is this course for?

Ideal for Healthcare Assistants and Practice Nurses new to Wound Care.

 

What will I learn?

You will learn the theory and science of wound care and have opportunity to practice wound care techniques including dressings, suture removal and clip removal.

Training in clinical skills covers theory and simulated practice. Following training supervised practice must be completed in the clinical setting, you will be issued with competencies to complete before receiving a certificate. A competent registered nurse must be responsible for confirming that you have gained sufficient practical competency before independent practice.

 

How long is it?

4.5 hour session

 

How much is it?

£150 per person
